Eden's Vehicle Miracle!

Eden Children's Village is an orphanage positioned 120 miles north of the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare. Eden consists of 185 orphans, 135 employees, the employees families, and missionaries. Everyone at Eden relies on vehicles for moving food, getting to a hospital when there are emergencies, moving equipment, getting to court hearings, government offices and getting necessary supplies for life. We exist WAY out in the boonies and it takes vehicles to get there. Our vehicles are old, worn out and quite literally beaten down. We desperately need to replace two of them and that's what this campaign is designed to do: provide reliable transportation for a LOT of people in rural Zimbabwe.

 
The price may seem high, but we face 84% import taxes in Zimbabwe (60% of purchase price, then 15% of the 160% taxed price) which drive vehicle prices through the roof. Our aim is to import at least one vehicle that can replace our delapidated old fleet of vehicles with reliable transportation!
