<div>Sandy received a breast cancer diagnosis on January 15th and will undergo a double mastectomy on April 2nd. While she bravely faces this challenge, the road to recovery will be demanding. The full scope of her treatment won't be clear until after surgery, adding to the uncertainty.

<div>Sandy was already in the process of selling her home and downsizing prior to her health diagnosis, now adding to the stress of navigating this difficult and unknown journey.

<div>Her loving daughters, family and friends are providing invaluable support, helping with transportation to and from doctor appointments and moving, however, while she has some paid time off, including the New Minnesota Law ESST which allows up to 48 hours maximum annually, it won't be enough to cover her recovery period. This means significant unpaid time off, adding a financial burden to an already challenging situation.
