!!YR6 DOES 6 MILE CHALLENGE FOR THE ELLIS

Hi everyone
Our Yr 6 children have missed out on so much this year due to the current circumstances and haven’t been able to enjoy any leavers parties/assembleys etc, they miss their friends lots so some of the children have decided to try and help raise money for the Ellis school in Hemingfield which they attend so they can continue to improve their outdoor learning and activity spaces for their future students.
The school would really love to do things such as create a pond area and have a large slide down the banking from the field to the playground amongst other things which is quite costly so they want to help in anyway they can xx We hope we can then have a plaque with the children’s names on somewhere within the school so they will be remembered for their efforts too!
The children will be doing the 6 MILE challenge which means each child will complete 6miles at home/park etc either by running, walking, skipping, swimming etc
