Hello everyone, as some of you might know my family has been doing foster care for a few years now. This experience has brought so many amazing kids and teenagers into our family, one being my foster brother. 


My foster brother, who has been with us for over a year now, is one of the most hardworking and kindest people I know. He has been dealt an exceptionally difficult hand in life but has faced it all with an inspiring amount of optimism. 


Tragically, my foster brother’s father passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. While he and his family are dealing with their grief, they are also worrying about how to pay off the exorbitant hospital bills. His family lives in a remote mountain village in Oaxaca and are very poor. They have already had to make some heartbreaking financial decisions, such as selling their house, and are now struggling to afford rent and food. 


If you can, please donate. Any amount will help and be greatly appreciated. Every cent will go to his family in Oaxaca in order to pay off the hospital bills, and if anything is left over, to give them some financial security.
