Atlas needs jaw surgery from being hit by a car

After getting cleaned and rested, his dad realized he wasn't in a good way. He called me to tell me what happened and I immediately booked his vet appointment. 

Today, after getting x-rays and blood tests, we learned that his jaw needs surgery as he was likely hit by a car. He also needs one of his canine teeth removed. 

This requires a specialist veterinarian. And despite almost every cat dentist being away for a conference until Oct 6, I was able to reach Dr. Graham Thatcher,  a specialist with extensive knowledge and experience who has agreed to work with Atlas' vet. As luck would have it, Dr Thatcher moved to Ottawa from Wisconsin to set up his practice here. 

Normally we wouldn't ask for help but the vet costs are too much for his owner. I have adjusted the amount to USD because of the settings on this app.

Today, I spent over $550 just for the x-rays and other tests and Thursday we will need to pay at minimum the estimated $1900, with the hope that Atlas doesn't have any other fractures in his mouth. 

We are humbly asking for you to help by contributing to his surgery.
