Hello, my name is Maurice Archer! I have been teaching empowerment, self-awareness, discipline, respect, confidence and much to youth through breakdance in Ann Arbor, Michigan for over 7 years.
Mostly with afterschool classes, reaching well over 1000 children in the area since 2010!
Seeing and experiencing the positive impact that breakdance has made on children, families and the Ann Arbor community, I'm hoping to now open a creative movement space in neighboring Ypsilanti. The goal is to provide a communal location where Ypsilanti children and families are able to gain the same benefits from breakdance I continue to share with the community of Ann Arbor!

A location not just offering breakdance but other dance, yoga, art, music, Weekend camps, community gatherings, poetry nights, book clubs and more! Both Parents and children can take part in activities of creative expression. Encouraging balance, beauty, confidence, and awareness of themselves and the World as a whole!

Donated funds will be used to secure the building. It will cost $5,000 to pay a security deposit and rent for the first 3 months and an additional $2,000 for utilities, supplies (Sound system, mirrors, yoga mats, minor decor) and family scholarships consisting of Movement, art, music, and meditation.

The center will have a projected opening date of January 2018. However, I need to move on a location now and secure a building! By donating you can help to build a beacon of light within this Community! Donate today to help make this Vision a Reality!!!
