Travis Tremblay Medical Fund

A man who has spent his life helping and serving others needs our help. Help is not something he has ever asked for but his friends are now rallying together in support of Travis Tremblay and his family.

Travis is a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served our country from 1994 to 2000. He reflects on those years very fondly as he loves his country and considered it an honor to help protect America. After his military service, he and his wife Karen returned to Travis’ hometown of Saco, Maine to raise their family (daughter Bailey and son Jordan).

Since his return to Saco, Travis has been a fixture within youth sports in Saco. If you were a youth softball player in Saco over the past 12 years, there’s a good chance Travis positively touched your life in some way. He has volunteered numerous hours helping young players develop their skills and has never asked for anything in return.

In March, Travis suffered a stroke that came “out of nowhere.” During the process of pinpointing “why” it was found Travis had Stage 3 (aggressive) thyroid cancer that had spread to surrounding lymph nodes. On June 22nd, Travis had a six hour surgery to remove his thyroid gland and treat the surrounding areas. The next step is for Travis to undergo radiation treatment.

This is where we can step in to help. While insurance covers some costs, the amounts remaining to pay “out of pocket” are substantial. Travis is a woodworker by trade who makes ends meet by working overtime when available. Without currently being able to work during his treatment, coupled with a steady stream of costly medical bills, the Tremblay family could use our support. Monies you donate will be used to help the Tremblay family through their mounting financial challenges and allow them to focus on getting Travis back to 100% health. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
