About Coltrane's European Training Fund
Coltrane is a 5-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding born and raised in the USA. I competed his father, Olivier, successfully at the international levels in dressage. Due to our success in the show ring, I've been given a training grant to take Olivier to Europe to train with multiple Olympian Carl Hester. My goal is to raise enough money to bring Coltrane with me, as well as he is an incredibly promising horse for the future. Mr. Hester is not only an extremely accomplished rider, he is also very well known for his ability to bring horses from youngsters to the international level. My hope is that while I continue my education with Olivier, I will also be able to continue to train Coltrane for the future under the watchful eye of a man who has trained dozens of horses from youngsters to Grand Prix.
Part of what makes our story unique is that it is very rare for horses bred in the United States to return to Europe for training and competition. To have not one but two US bred horses, not to mention the fact that they are father and son, is virtually unheard of. It would be a great honor for me to be able to make something like this happen and I would like to thank everyone for your support!
