Youth-Led Mutual Aid Project Fund

Donation protected
During this time, AAPI Women Lead is partnering up with youth leaders throughout the United States who are on the grounds supporting their communities in the midst of a global pandemic and social uprising. Through AAPIWL’s Youth-Led Mutual Aid Relief Fund we have been able to fund 9 youth-led projects and we need your help to fund more youth-led campaigns. Help us fund 33 more projects!

The intentions of the Youth-Led Mutual Aid Relief Fund is to support and elevate youth leaders and to show the power and solidarity of community support, even while being physically distant, so that families and people in need are able to rely on each other and their communities. This campaign is mainly focused on the needs of people during COVID-19 and is also focused on supporting the Movement for Black Lives. Through this campaign, AAPI Women Lead aims to provide small relief funds for mutual aid projects led by youth. This application is open to youth up to the age of 24. We encourage undocumented youth and other recently unemployed young adults to apply. Each youth/ young adult will receive up to $300 to help fund mutual-aid projects. Projects can include providing safety kits, making homemade masks and hand sanitizers, providing free food and delivery service to low-income families and more.

With your partnership and donation we will be able to support more youth and their community relief efforts. Our communities need support now more than ever and we are leading the way to take care of each other. Join Us!

Any support and donation is much appreciated.

Who we are-

AAPI Women Lead is an intergenerational organization that  aims to strengthen the progressive political and social platforms of Asian and Pacific Islander communities in the US through the leadership of self-identified AAPI women and girls.  Our goal is to challenge and help end the intersections of violence against and within our communities. We do this work in solidarity with other communities of color.
