No one grows up wanting to be homeless. In King County, almost 11,000 youth and young adults experience homelessness on any given night. An overwhelming number of these are youth of color and/or identify as LGBTQ+.
Rain City Soccer Club and its members are committed to helping it's neighbors end homelessness by supporting and donating to front-line organizations like YouthCare .
YouthCare's ongoing mission is to end youth homelessness and to ensure that young people are valued for who they are and empowered to achieve their potential.
Please join us in supporting YouthCare's meal-service program by donating. Each dollar raised will be used to provide meals for homeless and at-risk youth in the Seattle area. Something as simple as a meal is an important factor in the ways people at YouthCare can systematically develop to become independent, housed, and a successful individual.
With the impact of COVID-19 and the closure of many outreach programs, this is a crucial time for RCSC members to step in, show up, and help out.
We're not asking for much - $2, $10, whatever you feel comfortable in giving. Every $6 feeds 1 person!
