 Jeffrey, Imani and Daniel come from all over the world. They don’t know each other yet but they are connected through their shared vision of an AIDS-free generation. <img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/27601142_1520961625,2632_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /> We are the generation that can stop AIDS.  With your contribution, you help to send committed young people like Jeffrey, Imani and Daniel to the International AIDS Conference. Youth Against AIDS is this year's official partner of the International AIDS Conference #AIDS2018 in July. We are building our own Youth Against AIDS basecamp and are inviting 300 young people from all over the world to join our movement. Taking part in the conference allows us to influence important decisions so we don’t have to leave our future in the hands of others. Our fundraiser finances the Youth Against AIDS basecamp, the travel grants of the participants and the on site program. It all started nine years ago in Germany when a school class sold red ribbons on the street. Today, Youth Against AIDS is Europe's largest young volunteer education initiative. With your help, we can end AIDS. In eight cities, seven countries, and five continents we are following one goal: the fight against AIDS. Follow us daily on our fight against the lethal disease. For many people, AIDS is not an important topic anymore, but the numbers still are alarming: 36.7 million people worldwide live with the diagnosis HIV positive. In 2016 alone UNAIDS reported that more than 1.8 million people got infected with the life-threatening virus.
