<div>When I was a youth exiting the foster care system, I experienced homelessness. I know what it feels like to have nowhere to go, no stability, and no clear path forward. It’s overwhelming, and for many young people, it leads to a cycle that’s hard to break.

<div>That’s why we’re building this.

<div>In Chatham, we’re creating transitional housing specifically for youth who are aging out of foster care and at risk of homelessness. Right now, there’s a major gap — shelters are not designed for young people, and too many fall through the cracks.

<div>Our goal is simple: give youth a safe, private place to live while they get back on their feet.
</div>

<div>Each unit will provide:

<li>Access to support and community

<li>A stepping stone to permanent housing

<div>We’ve already made real progress. We have secured the property and working with partners to bring this vision to life. Now we need your help to make it happen.

<div>So far with the help of United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent  and  Women 5 for 5 Chatham-Kent we have been able to acquire the property and we have enough funds to get us to the building permit stage. We still have to raise all the capital funding for this project so we are counting on your support
