"We this year entered a partnership with Amala, also co-founded by UWC Alumni to offer Education to Refugee, Displaced and Host Community youth in Kasese, Western Uganda."
-Bright Geofrey Kata (Co-founder)
Limited access to education, school dropouts and early marriages for youth due to internal displacement arising from insecurities & natural disasters like the flooding of River Nyamwamba in Kasese, Western Uganda, that's left many youth in Displacement Camps and others forced to move from their homes. Most internally displaced & host Community youth drop out of school before acquiring the necessary skills to get employment, start their own projects in the community, or further their studies in higher institutions of learning.
