Youth 2000 Christmas Retreat 2024

Over 500 young people are expected to gather from December 6th-8th to learn more about their faith, and meet other young people at our annual Christmas Retreat. This retreat, like all of our events, will be 'donation only' for our young attendees! This is a critical part of our mission of leading young people to the Heart of the Church.

Although it is donation only for attendees, it is not free to run. The Christmas retreat costs Youth 2000 €20,000. For this, well over 500 young people can come to a full weekend of talks and activities, travel to and from on one of the FREE BUSES from across the country, stay on site and have their meals provided. It also covers the provision of the supplies, equipment and health & safety cover necessary to run an event like this.

Your donation can be the reason why a young person who could not otherwise attend, will have a real encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist, and have their life transformed! Please give what you can so that events like this one can remain open to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.

Youth 2000 is a Catholic youth organisation that runs lively faith festivals, retreats, prayer groups and other events for young people aged 16-35 across the island of Ireland. Youth 2000 is a registered charity and relies completely on donations and extensive fundraising to carry out its mission.
