Your Support for Kennedy Surf & Coffee Biarritz

Dear Friends and Families out there!
We are Kennedy Surf & Coffee, an association with a heart for the surf and coffee community based in Biarritz, France. We create a welcoming environment for the people of Biarritz where everyone is able to thrive and develop in their talents and professions. We combine our love for surfing, skating, and specialty coffee to gather together as a community. Kennedy is a place which focuses on every individual person and provides a platform for authentic relationships, centred around the good things in life.
We are a team of volunteers from over 7 different nations that have come together to invest in this vision. For over 2.5 years blood, sweat and tears was poured into the property as we reconstructed, rebuilt and developed the house which we now call Kennedy.
It brings us much joy to see Kennedy become the creative place and space we have dreamt of it becoming for our locals. From art exhibitions and live concerts, to the daily flat white and casual conversations. We are so stoked to see how relationships are made and how friendships are formed around the culture of surf and coffee.
As you can imagine, the corona crisis has hit us as an association particularly hard. At this difficult time, we want to honour the restrictions of the government and take responsibility of staying at home. The health of our friends, family and neighbours must have the highest priority.
However due to the uncertainty of the situation, we don't know when Kennedy Surf and Coffee will be open again. Consequently as we rely on support from our loyal and faithful members, we are unsure as to how we will pay rent in the coming weeks.
The rent of the building is approximately 2,500€ per month. In order that we can hold on to the building and the vision of Kennedy, we would ask for your help!
We believe that with your support, we can overcome the challenges of the next few weeks and potentially months in order to be able to reopen Kennedy as soon as possible.
We believe in the strength of our community and we really are looking forward to providing a homely platform for people all around the world again.
