<div>Paul Gordon is a 41-year-old husband, father, son and friend.  He has spent more than two decades living with pain most of us can’t imagine.

<div>When he was a young man, a massive piece of equipment fell on him at work and crushed his leg. The injury changed the entire course of his life. After surgeries and complications, he was left with chronic pain that doctors treated the way so many did in the early 2000s: with Oxycodone. For 17 years, under the care of doctors, he relied on Oxy just to function.

<div>Eventually, Paul made the brave decision to stop taking Opioids. The pain continues but Paul rarely complains. He rarely lets anyone see how much it costs him. He puts on a brave face for his family, for his friends, for the world. He just keeps going.

<div>But the long‑term effects of pain medication have taken a devastating toll on his teeth. They are deteriorating rapidly, leaving him unable to chew properly and often in even more pain. And the longer this goes untreated, the worse the damage becomes. The dental work he needs is extensive and urgent — and it will cost at least $20,000.

<div>He has endured so much in silence. He has never asked for help. So we are asking for him.
