My name is Mohammad Sangar Amirzada; Director of Roydad News Agency-Afghanistan. Since 2005, I have committedly and firmly dedicated significant time to put in effect and advocate through various domains, initiatives, programs, and voluntary civil organizations. Through my works I have strived to awaken thoughts, raising public awareness, advancing women's fundamental rights, and respect for them and reflecting the voices of Afghan women and men on women's rights issues, strive to consolidate lasting peace, promote a culture of mutual acceptance, consultation and dialogue through peaceful means, encouraging children, adolescents, youths/new generation, women and different segments of society to take steps beyond disputes, inviting people to mutual understanding and agreement, and encouraging children and adolescents to pursue education, combat illiteracy, accept modern human values, and prevent deviations.

Over the past 20 years, in addition to the above activities, we have founded Roydad News Agency in 2019 as a free, independent, non-political, non-for-profit and non-affiliated digital media organization, officially registered with Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan. Our mission has been to promote and provide media support to women and youth in education, business, entrepreneurship, culture, art, and sports.

Following the political transformation of August 15, 2021 in Afghanistan, despite the different conditions in the country, I assumed full leadership of the Roydad News Agency. With only limited personal resources and a different work approach, we managed to maintain and continue the activities of Roydad News Agency. With a small yet committed team, beyond reporting and reflecting community events, we initiated exclusive and self-produced programs through the lens of Roydad News Agency.

Over the past 2 years (2023-2025), Roydad News Agency has exclusively initiated the production of programs to introduce, promote, and provide media support to women and youth entrepreneurs, produce documentaries and narrate the success stories and creativity of women and youth in business, entrepreneurship, education, culture, art, and sports, reflect the voices of Afghan women and men on women's rights issues, encouraging children and adolescents to pursue education, escape illiteracy, embrace modern human values and prevent deviations, depict the work and lives of worker children and picturizing hard work and its impact on the lives of children and raising awareness of their resilience, and encouraging a space for dialogue and negotiation to resolve conflicts and foster social solidarity among children, adolescents, youth/new generation, women, and other segments of society, in a professional and technical media format. Roydad News Agency with a minimal personal resource, after 2 years of dedicated effort and work with a completely different media approach, has succeeded in achieving the following outcomes:

• Production of more than 100 short documentaries for women entrepreneurs in order to introduce and promote them in the current context of Afghanistan under the program "Woman and Enterprise".

• Production of more than 50 short documentaries to introduce and promote new figures and activists of the new generation as emerging leaders under the program "New Generation; Future Hope."

• Producing dozens of dedicated conversation and dialogue programs with children, adolescents, youth, new generation, and women to strengthen mutual understanding and social solidarity under the programs "The Path to Kindness" and "Speak for Afghanistan."

• Producing more than dozens of dedicated programs to reflect the voices of Afghan women and men on women's rights issues under the program "Women and Rights."

• Picturizing more than dozens of outstanding and superior children and adolescents through a dedicated program of "Tomorrow’s Hop”, to encourage children and adolescents to pursue education, rescue from illiteracy, embrace modern human values, and prevent deviations.

• And covering the work and lives of dozens of worker children and picturizing hard work and its impact on the lives of children under the program "Worker Children; Broken Dreams."

Afghanistan today, needs work, effort and commitment to strengthen the above values, more than ever. We have putt efforts and tried with the very limited personal resources so far to preserve the Roydad News Agency with the exclusive and dedicated activities mentioned above, but from here on, preserving and continuing the activities and maintaining Roydad News Agency, requires your cooperation, help and solidarity. To continue the value-based work of Roydad for at least another year; we need your help and support. Let these values be preserved and continued in today's context.
