I wish I could offer my daughter the 18th Birthday party of her dream. But above all, I want to offer her the gift of a lifetime: Speech and Language Therapy for her dyslexia. That condition affected her self-esteem and her self-confidence during her school years and today her reading fluency is still under the average. Sarah is fantastic in many aspects: good caracter traits, modest, serious but funny at times, with a bubbly side that appears sometimes, open minded and tolerant, warm, loyal and friendly, spiritual, artistic, etc. She's very caring and smart when interacting with her brother. She has the heart and the mindset to care for special needs children. Her next project is to study in the program Special Care Counselling. We wish her a lot of success and happiness with that and in every step of a future wonderful career.

Je veux offrir à Mikaella la fête de ses rêves pour ses 18 ans. Mais par-dessus tout je souhaite lui offrir un cadeau de valeur, qui durera toute une vie: des traitements en orthophonie pour sa dyslexie. Elle souffre surtout d'un manque de fluidité en lecture. Son estime de soi et sa confiance en soi ont été affectées pendant toutes ses années d'études primaires et secondaires. Mikaella a un frère Austiste/TDAH avec d'autres problèmes de santé physique, qui ont bien entendu accaparé l'attention des parents et vidé le portefeuille. Elle a souvent passer en deuxième puisque les besoins de son petit frère étaient, et sont toujours énormes. Je suis une maman monoparentale, sans emploi et sans aucune épargne.
