The Young Ambassadors program is a group of high school students under the World Family Children Foundation (www.worldfamilychildren.org/young-ambassadors.html) working to provide underprivileged children all around the world with resources and funding to be able to receive an education. We are working with Voice of World to supply students in India with the same resources to stabilize their community after a disaster.
Voice of World (www.voiceofworld.net) is an NGO nonprofit (with 501c3 verified base in Florida called Voice of World Corp) organization based in Kolkata, India, which takes in differently-abled orphans and provides access to resources such as education. Voice of World nurtures them and develops their abilities to help prepare them for the world ahead. Voice of World affects 300 residential and 2000 non-residential children with its 27 centers by organizing scholarships, cultural and sporting events, medical camps, and more.
Recently, the Amphan cyclone devastated a large part of Eastern India, damaging 2 centers and resulting in nearly $40,000 of damage to infrastructure! Along with the COVID-19 pandemic, this cyclone led to an unsustainable level of operating costs for their Voice of World facilities.
