Young Women Mental Health Advocacy

As a 17-year old girl who struggles with anxiety and the everyday stressors of life, I find it really important to talk more about young female mental health. COVID has brought a new set of changes to everybody’s lifestyle. And mental health affects almost all teenage girls in some form. Depression affects 14% of teenagers ages 13-17 (Teen Mental Health Statistics [Updated 2018] - Polaris Teen Center). In a world where technology is our prime connection to each other, it is slowly beginning to feel harder and harder to be there for our loved ones. That’s why it is so incredible to donate to Bring Change to Mind, a non-profit that works to end the stigma around mental health. We are all fighting an internal battle that nobody ever sees so let’s be a shoulder to someone else when we can.  Your donation is appreciated!
