Young mother and wife with cancer

Hello family and friends! I am making this gofund page for my grandson Nick and his wife Kristen.

Last month my grand-daughter-in-law Kristen was doing a self exam and felt unusual lumps in her breasts. Kristen decided to go see her physician and has since been diagnosed with invasive ductual carcinoma.

Kristen is married to my grandson Nick Flores and they have an 18 month old son named Paxton. I am deeply saddened by this because Kristen is ONLY 29 years old whom just started her life and a family.

She's one of the sweetest person I know. She's always kind and thoughtful of others. Kristen had a small succulent business and due to her illness she was unable to care for them. She sold them and donated all funds to The American Cancer Society.

Due to future medical expenses with hospital and treatment bills, which won't be fully covered by their health insurance, is the reason why I am starting this gofund page for them.

Nick is the only financial provider for their family at this time. Due to this unexpected turn of events, Nick is needing to take more time off of work in order to help take care of Kristen, Paxton, and their dog Monte.

As of right now the chemo has helped shrink the tumors and is preparing her for a double mastectomy.

Even if you cannot donate there are other ways to help people with cancer such as donating money to The American Cancer Society for research. Although we are still unsure what her future is we pray for the best outcome!
