A Young Man On A Mission For An Education!...

My name is Tanya, and I am a single mother of a college senior and an incoming freshman. Despite best efforts of saving and applying for financial aid and scholarships, my son, Marvin, doesn't have quite enough money to attend college this fall. I recently lost my second job due to COVID-19 and his father lost his employment.
As a 2019 high school graduate, he waited a year to attend college because of lack of funds and lack of guidance and support from his high school counselors. However, he is eager to start his post high-school education and work toward a career. He understands that an education is the key to his success!
Marvin is scheduled to attend Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, FL. He plans to transfer to a four-year university after establishing himself as a college student and as a Florida resident.
Why Tallahassee and not a local community college? The answer is: Marvin is ready to grow and doesn't want to get stuck in a holding pattern with peers who may not be as motivated as he is regarding an education and career.
He has been accepted and enrolled but still needs housing and other essentials to ensure his success and ability to stay there and matriculate.
I do know that during this time, many families are stretched thin and suffering too. If you could find it in your heart to donate, please know that no donation is too small, and every donation is greatly appreciated. For those who happen to be able, it only takes 15 people to give 1000, to reach his goal. Marvin will work hard to make his community, and all those who invested in him, proud!

"Hello, my name is Marvin Hughes, and I want to attend Tallahassee Community College in the Fall of 2020 to pursue my degree in Cyber Security, and ultimately, a career. I want to stop online hacking worldwide for banking, gaming, identity, etc. I have always wondered why my game freezes mid-mission and why money has been randomly taken out of my bank account? There is so much that can be done to keep this from happening, and take down the unfair people that do this. I want to be the person to stop them! Not only that, I want to go away to college to create a life for myself and my family. I want to be able to take away financial stress from my mom and take care of her, so that her heart can be healthy again and she will be here to see me succeed as I work hard to provide for me, my sisters, and my entire family!"
