THIS GOFUNDME SUPPORTS THE MIAMI SUMMIT ON APRIL 7TH, 2018. SIGN UP TO ATTEND THE SUMMIT HERE. With a coalition of partners, we are having a large scale convening of student leaders in Miami-Dade and Broward counties (as a start), a Young Leaders Summit, with the following goals:
Inspire. Hear from national advocates for change.
Train. Learn how to organize, mobilize, and advocate from the best trainers possible and at no cost to students.
Connect. Student leaders will have the chance to meet one another, support one another and begin to build close working relationships with one another.
Strategize. We need a collective plan of action to see immediate results on gun reform and other issues important in our state.
Participants should walk away with all the skills necessary to keep the gun reform movement alive, meet the movement's goals (like gun reform legislation and mental health funding), and apply these skills to other movements/ campaigns.
