<div>Faiz Sharif, age 6, was seriously injured at the Kipona festival in Harrisburg, PA, on Sept. 1 when a reckless driver drove into a crowd of pedestrians. He sustained multiple life-threatening injuries and has already undergone several emergency surgeries. Faiz is receiving expert care, however, will require extensive ongoing medical procedures and specialized care. The family faces a long and uncertain road ahead.

While they focus on his care, they are also navigating the immense emotional and practical challenges that come with such a traumatic event. The support, prayers and kindness of friends, family and the broader community have brought comfort, but the challenges ahead remain daunting.
