Young artists paint for murals

I live in South Minneapolis near the devastation that surrounded the uprising of voices last week.  Already the streets are being transformed by artists.  As an art educator for the past 25 years, I have seen the transformative power of creation during times of trauma.  I would like to provide some structure and materials for those who want to engage in this next stage of the revolution happening in that area.  

The money will go to buying paint, tarps and supplies for the artists, as well as food and masks for the people doing the painting.  Any left over funds will go to help buy art materials for kids in the area that will be distributed through the pop-up free food markets around the area.
