Hello, my name is Terry. I’ve spent years working in tech, and now I want to use that experience to solve a growing problem that affects us all - fast fashion waste and social poverty.

In the UK, we send 350,000 tonnes of clothing to landfills each year. Another 450,000 tonnes are shipped abroad, with 40% ending up in landfills, burned, or discarded. At the same time, 4.3 million children live in poverty, lacking access to adequate clothing. It doesn’t have to be this way.

That’s why I started Young Allies, a Non-Profit Tech for Good startup that matches families in need with those who want to make meaningful donations. Through our app, you can directly connect with another family, providing clothing for a child while keeping those items in the circular economy, reducing waste and making a real impact.

We’re a volunteer-led team, passionate about social issues and the environment. Every penny we raise will go towards building this app and creating a future where generosity is effortless and impactful.
