The love between a mother and daughter is eternal and unshakable, no matter how far the distance between them. But right now, Sam needs to be by her Mom's side. Please give to provide a way for Sam to travel to Dubai.
As many of you know, Susan has suddenly found herself on an agressive plan to fight a cancer, involving rounds of chemotherapy and surgery. She is battling now. She is a fighter and her attitude is amazing; however, nothing would mean more to her and provide more strength than to have her daughter by her side. Sam is her world.
Sam recently posted the following on facebook to her Mom, after the recent loss of her brother, Eric, and father, Roy, but before the current situation was known:
"There is nothing I want more than to give this goregeous woman the biggest hug in the world. There are no words that explain my gratitude. There are no words that explain my admiration. The past few months have been beyond devasting for us, yet she continues to be courageous and selfless. Thank you, Mom. Thank you for holding me together as I constantly fall apart. Thank you for supporting me in everything I do and am. Thank you for setting an incredible example and following your dreams on the other side of the world. Eric and I have THE best mom in the world, no one can debate that. I love you, I love you, I love you. It's just you and me, Susie Q and as hard as that is...it is still such a blessing because I have you."
How much more is that hug necessary now.
Sam, along with her cousin Laurie, desire to be in Dubai with Susan when she has surgery, which occurs after her second round of chemotherapy, mid July. So the goal is to raise money quickly!
The money received will go toward travelling expenses. Susan and Sam requested that in honor of Eric, any funds recieved above what is needed be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This will be honored.
