Yoga to Syrian Kids in S.Turkey

Hello fellow friends and supporters, my name is 
Carla and I am a yoga instructor in the Orange County area.  I have been teaching yoga and movement for the past ten years and am very passionate about sharing the acient practice of yoga to all.  Just two days ago I was offered an opportunity of a lifetime, to teach my love of yoga to Syrian refugee children in Southern Turkey grade 1-6.  I will be going on this journey at the end of April, The reason this is short notice is because the original teacher could no longer make the trip happen. One of the co-founders of this foundation is a regular at the studio I teach at in Irvine and she came to me directly once this happened.  I am extremely honored to have been offered such an opportunity and I plan on doing everything I can to make it happen.  The foundation is called Karam Foundation which means generousity in Arabic and this will be their fifth year taking this mission.  This would be a dream come true for me, to spread the knowledge I have gathered from the past ten years, and share it with children who have been surrounded by chaos.  I believe that through this experience I can help heal these children with breath work and movement to remove stagnant energy and negative emotions allowing to spread some peace and serenity at such a traumatic time in their lives. I believe that anything is possible and I have faith that with these donations I can have my trip funded and make this dream a reality!
