<div><strong>Full Circle: From Student to Teacher, Empowering Girls in India through Yoga</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In a beautiful full-circle moment, exactly three years after completing my second 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India — the birthplace of yoga — I’m returning, not as a student, but as a teacher.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the month of February, I’ll be teaching yoga to girls at a school in Agra, just one hour from the Taj Mahal. These are girls from underprivileged backgrounds, supported by Edu-GIRLS, who believe that every girl deserves access to education and opportunity. Through Rainbow Yoga and Yoga Gives Back, I’ll be helping these girls connect with their bodies, minds, and emotions; using yoga to nurture confidence, self-belief, and joy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why This Matters</strong>
</div>
<div>For many of these girls, yoga isn’t just exercise — it’s empowerment. It helps them build resilience, release stress, and reconnect with their inner strength. It’s also a rare chance to simply play, breathe, and feel safe.
</div>
<div>This experience is also a powerful cultural exchange. The selected yoga teachers are women from around the world, coming together to inspire and encourage... and I’ll be proudly flying the flag for the UK.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div>To make this possible, I’ll need to reduce my regular work for a month and cover travel, vaccines, and on-the-ground expenses. I’m also hoping to plan a special surprise for the girls — bringing in a well-known female figure from India to inspire and uplift them even more, which won’t be possible without your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Your donation will help cover:</strong>
</div>
<ul>
<li>A contribution towards flights and travel to India
</li>
<li>Vaccinations and preparation costs
</li>
<li>Supplies I might need for the girls; art materials, yoga mats, books for the library they’re planning to build, and if I can raise enough, microphones and recording equipment (I’d love to teach them some radio and podcasting skills too!)
</li>
<li>A special surprise for the girls — bringing in a famous female face from India to share their story and show what’s possible (if I can raise enough for their expenses)
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This isn’t just a trip, it’s a chance to give back to the very country that gave the world yoga. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create ripples of hope, confidence, and joy that reach far beyond one classroom.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve chosen my favourite day of the year, 11/11, to launch the campaign, as I believe in the power of 11:11 — a portal for new beginnings and setting intentions. Plus, tomorrow (12th) is my birthday, so any support would be especially meaningful!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>My Promise</strong>
</div>
<div>That original training in Rishikesh transformed me, shaping not just how I view and share yoga, but how I live and see the world.
</div>
<div>Now, I want to pass that gift forward. Together, we can empower these girls to believe in themselves, to dream bigger, and to know that they are worthy of joy, opportunity, and love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping me make this happen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love and gratitude,
</div>

<div><strong>The Partnership: Yoga Without Borders</strong>
</div>
<div>This project is made possible through a partnership between three incredible organizations, each bringing something unique:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>1️⃣ Rainbow Yoga
</div>
<div>Rainbow Yoga makes yoga fun, creative, and interactive for children, teens, and families. They also offer comprehensive teacher training programs for individuals who want to teach yoga to children. I am a graduate of their TTC.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>2️⃣ Yoga Gives Back
</div>
<div>Yoga Gives Back is a global nonprofit that mobilizes the yoga community to support women and children in India through education, microloans, and empowerment programs. They transform the gratitude that yoga inspires into direct action, uplifting lives and creating opportunities for those who need it most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>3️⃣ Edu-GIRLS
</div>
<div>Edu-GIRLS provides free, high-quality education for underprivileged girls in India, from preschool to university. They believe every girl deserves access to education and the chance to shape her own future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, these organizations form the foundation of Yoga Without Borders — blending yoga, education, and empowerment into one life-changing experience. My role as an ambassador is to bring this vision to life, helping these girls build confidence, resilience, and joy through yoga, while also fostering a meaningful cultural exchange.
