Yoga with Your Preschooler (book)

Hi friends,
I'm hoping to get your support to make a little vision of mine a reality.   In my work with preschoolers, and in my time as a Mom, I've yet to find a yoga book/set of cards for adults and their 2-6 year olds that is to my liking. So my 4 year old and I are setting out to make some.  The plan now is to write the book first, then the cards at a later date. 

This campaign is just for the book. The amount above is my estimate of what it will cost to hire expert photographers, to rent a location that is appropriate for great photos, get some graphic design help and an editor.  The first step will be the photo shoot - which we are hoping to do this month! The cost for this (great local photographers and renting studio space) will be around 2000.  Once that piece is underway I can start writing and get design/editing help.  

To write/create this book well, I'll be pulling together my experience and training as a long time yoga teacher, kids yoga teacher, Montessori teacher,  family life coach, writer and most importantly my time and experience as a Mom.  My full bio is at olyndasmith.com.  I've got the initial sketches of the project envisioned, outlined and organized - with a lot of input from Aria. She is the true early childhood expert :)  

This book and the cards that will follow will be in support of adults and their young kids doing yoga together in a way that promotes optimal health, learning, joy, peace & connection. 

I will be incredibly grateful for anything you can contribute - skills or cash or spreading the word once we self-publish.  I've been thinking of this project title as "Better Together" - and it's true yoga is better together and making this project will take a village. It'll be better together.  

If you do give us financial support I have gifts for you!  It realistically may take a year to get the whole book completed... but you will be the first to know and have the first copies - signed! The Yoga for Parents video will be up this Fall and you can schedule the private class with me whenever :) 

Any donation of:
$50 or more gets you a free, signed copy of the book! 
$100 or more and you get a free signed book and access to a private  yoga video just for parents.  If you aren't a parent you can gift it!
$250 or more and you get a free signed book, access to the video and if you are local, a free hour private class with me.  You can gift the class, use it for yourself or invite friends to join in!
 
You can always say "no thanks" to the gift and we keep more of the donation :) Except you have to take a copy of the book :)  You can give it away.
