Volunteering in Africa 2019

2018 was a hard year for me. I lost my job, changed career paths, and overcame numerous personal struggles. Throughout my whole life I've enjoyed helping others and this year I want to expand that to South Africa. I want to volunteer with a company, IVHQ in Muizenberg, Africa teaching children English and helping those in need. Unfortunately, having a hard year has depleted my savings account and in order to afford to volunteer I need your help. There are registration fees, camp fees, the airfare, and travel itself. The entire cost to volunteer for 2 weeks totals around $3,000 plus taxes and fees. Please consider donating to my trip so that I can give back to the children in South Africa.

If you cannot donate monetarily, I will also be collecting a few items to take with me when I go such as tee shirts and small toys. I am hoping to travel this coming summer, 2019. Thank you for your support! It means the world to me for becoming a better me in 2019.
