As some of you already know, while on a family vacation with Cole & the boys in Hawaii, Marcie unexpectedly started bleeding & having contractions. This ended up needing her to be hospitalized in Honolulu, Oahu. Being as she's only 26 weeks pregnant, their current situation has put them on "island arrest" & they are having to make some very difficult choices & financial decisions.
In Marcie's words:
"I have spoken to many providers here and in Boise. Most are advising that I don't go home and that I deliver here on the island to avoid potentially bleeding out while crossing the Pacific Ocean. While the chance is hopefully low, since I have bled it is a greater risk. There is a good chance we will be staying here until I can deliver this baby.
Right now we are working through coming up with what a long term plan would look like to stay here through delivery. It is an overwhelming thought with a lot of moving pieces as it likely means staying here until late August.
Thank you for all of your love, support, and offers for help. While this situation isn't ideal, I know we will get through it with love and help from so many of you."
Knowing so many want to help, but are no able to because of the distance, helping alleviate any of the financial burden & extra strain these decisions are causing the family would be greatly appreciated.
