My Dad caught an extremely deadly case of Pneumonia while visiting family in El Salvador.
My Dad is currently in the ICU and being treated at the hospital. The hospital's policy requires all medical bills to be paid upfront on a daily basis. They are charging an average of $3000 dollars a day which is absolutely outrageous. The hospital will not treat the patient if the medical bills are not current and will DENY treatment. They basically will let him pass away. He cannot be transferred at the moment due to his critical condition.
It's urgent that we have enough funds available to cover the daily medical bills on hand to give him a fighting chance. The family has spent well over $21,000 dollars in an attempt to save his life. We are trying to raise enough money to stabilize him, transfer him to a more cost-efficient hospital, or bring him back home to the United States. This will only be possible once his health is stable enough to do so.
