Michael's Cancer Treatment

Our friends Michael and Liz went to Denver to see about getting some newly approved treatment for Michael's cancer. It is not covered by insurance, and although they haven't said so, I am pretty damn sure they could use some $$$ from their friends (that's us.)
Here is how Liz explained the treatment in a recent Facebook post:
Michael Golen-Johnson and I met with Dr Liu and the ARNP (Laura) that works with him today. So far, he's feeling optimistic about Michael's tumors. Tomorrow, Michael gets the Gallium 68 scan (which, along with Dr. Liu, is why we are here). This doctor is a world-known specialist in this type of cancer and is responsible for bringing this test to the U.S. It was recently released by the FDA and is still not covered by insurance Still, it's worth every penny to get Michael the best care available! Right y'all!?!?
