Give us a second chance for a home by Christmas

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Gloria Perez; I’m not good with words and don’t know how to ask for help, but I implore you to look inside your hearts and help us obtain a second chance to start living and end this daily nightmare which we are forced to live with day in and out. Time is not on our side; there’s minimal time left, and we need immediate help, facing homelessness at the end of December. I humble myself before your mercy and ask for your support and generosity. I trust in God's and humanity’s goodwill, I feel like giving up, but something bigger inside me pushes me forward each day and opens my heart to receiving God’s miracle, my trust in him gives me the will and strength to wake up each day and fight for my family’s right to live as decent as possible.
Housing options out here are inhuman. Every day I do as much as my disabilities permit me. I trust that we will find a home and relocate my family soon. Going through home-for-sale listings after listing each day stomps my heart because nothing is affordable. We are struggling to make ends meet, and my husband works extra hours each week to improve our chances of a better home loan amount. We canceled our life and accident policies, changed to lower-cost car insurance, and limited our family outings to birthdays, but we still came short of the minimum closing costs.
I fight for my family’s sanity and mine each day, putting on a brave face to strengthen their faith and mine. My disabilities aside, I want to contribute somehow and asking for your help and generosity is the only thing I can do for them now; once we find a place to live, maybe I'll find a job that won’t make my disabilities worse. We need your immediate help; please find it within your hearts to help us; God will bless you more each day for your kindness and generosity towards strangers. Your help means the world to us at this moment of crisis; we should be preparing ourselves to rejoice and celebrate the coming of baby Jesus this Christmas.
I’ll be going in for my MRI for my spinal cord degenerating disk disease tomorrow, Dec. 15th, to see how advanced it is. It'll be a week or two for my doctor to review them after he’s gotten them in. My recurring sciatica and arthritis are insufferable, can’t walk for days at times; I received physical therapy for three years and stopped going for financial reasons. Still, I try to care for my older brothers. After working for more than 30 years and paying rent for 20 years in our old apartment, it’s heartbreaking to be forced to move by the end of December because of ongoing conflicts. We haven’t found a two-bed, one-bath home that’s affordable yet. It breaks my heart that we can’t find a home after all the struggles we have lived through. Despite being in extreme pain, I cannot go to physical therapy until we meet our most urgent need, which is HOUSING.
I humbly ask you and anyone you know to find it in your hearts to help us reach our financial goal and move into our first home by Christmas. There's so much to say about our critical situation; all I can say is God bless you every day and in every way. Someone sent me a quote in Spanish; the best translation for it would be: “Every day, you have the opportunity to write, correct and improve your life” I ask you to help us do this in ours. Thank you for your time, kindness, and generosity. Please forward our story on your social media. Thank you, and Happy Holidays from our family to yours, Gloria
