Aly & Jen Napiorski Fund

On September 6th, 2018, the amazing Napiorski sisters lost their beloved Father Steve just shy of four years after their Mom Joan passed in 2014.

It is with deep heartbreak, disbelief, and shock that I write these words, even eight days later. I know all of you reading this feel the same way.

Over the course of Joan's battle with cancer, Jen and Aly took their father's lead and exuded immense strength in support of their Mom by fundraising and providing emotional and practical support. Their family commitment and love became widely noticed and respected through that process. Their community and loved ones since have looked on with pride as these ladies, through such immense loss, have kept smiling, and have kept achieving during their major milestone years.  Since their Mom's diagnosis, Aly and Jen have both graduated from college, have begun navigating their careers (Aly as a Second Grade Teacher, and Jen as a Graphic Designer), and Aly has since married her beloved husband Chris.

After the heartbreaking loss of their Dad Steve, I know that my family is not the only one in the community saying, "what can we do to help 'those girls'?" Even though they are no longer 'girls', they're extremely young, and have long, bright futures ahead of them.

As a neighbor who grew up across the street, the images of Jen and Aly's (truly next-level adorable) faces as little ones are engrained in my mind and heart forever - 'those girls'. I've known them since they were each born and spent  endless hours with them during the early years of my life. The memories of our childhood were sweet to begin with - dolls, dress up, rehearsing dances to perform for our parents for hours and hours, their bright red tiny tricycle in the driveway, their husky named Czar, our dads lighting  illegal fireworks in the road, bonfires almost every Friday night, Steve's most recent hunting trophy (deer) hanging by its feet in the garage (maybe not sweet, but definitely nostalgic)  - now these memories are even sweeter. And in writing this I realize that I truly have Joan and Steve, and of course Aly and Jen, to thank for helping make my childhood so great. Their love, their impassioned spirit, their authenticity, their strength - I'll always hold this essence in my heart, as I'm sure you all who are reading will too.

Through this campaign, we intend to raise money for Jen & Aly to show them that we're here for them - to show them that they will always be supported. After careful consideration, we decided that the funds will be transferred to both Jen and Aly for them to do whatever they see fit - whether unforeseen circumstances, expenses, or even a vacation to just get away and de-stress.

To Jen and Aly, we will always be here for you. For the challenges ahead, know that you have a sea of loved ones surrounding you always who are waiting for you to just "ask". You are loved so so deeply by so many.

And thank you, everyone, for your support!

Please note: funds will be directly transferred via gofundme to Jen and Aly and will not go through me, Andrea. If you have any other concerns, please read through the gofundme terms & conditions
