Hello! My name is Ariel and I’m here with my husband Buckel (yes like your belt buckle). We are a small family of 3 looking to succeed in this big world, support our community’s youth, and share our love of games and coffee to the local community. At Grimes Games we believe that games (and coffee) heal the soul and is a great way to socialize, make new friends, and share the amazing things a mind can come up with. We are looking to start a local board game shop for the families in our community and hopefully beyond, a safe haven where people can use their imaginations and be themselves, but we need your help! Your donation will go directly to start up costs including product, building lease, and equipment needed to start up our business.

When my husband was 14 he found himself in the hospital for 6 months after being in a coma due to being diagnosed with juvenile onset type 1 brittle diabetes. With the help of a local charity he was given games to play while in the hospital. Due to this he has always felt that games have a way of healing and has wanted to give back and help bring games, and smiles, to others. This game store is our way of making a difference in our community.
