Mission Cambodia

Hi, my name is Emily Hankins and I am a senior at Mississippi College. I am an intern at Grace City Church in Jackson, and this past Spring Break I took the trip of a lifetime with my wonderful church. A group of 15 people of all ages traveled across the globe to Cambodia for a 10 day trip. I absolutely fell in love with the people and felt a clear call from the Lord that He wanted to use me in this place for the rest of my life. I am unsure if this call will be to move abroad to work with The Hard Places Community or if I will be working with them in some other capacity--all I know is that I am ready to be obedient to whatever the call is. I made plans to return to Cambodia in December of 2018 to further the mission and pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the Khmer Staff at the Hard Places. They are bringing so much light to such a dark place, but being new Christians, the staff members are so eager to learn. I am so excited to return and solidify the love I have for these people and remind them how much God loves them. The trip is expensive and I am still paying off the last trip I took in March. Being a college student with minimum wage pay, I could use all the help I can get. Know that the money you give will be used to bless those in Cambodia and will bless me beyond what you will ever know. Thank you so much for your giving. I cannot thank you enough. I will follow up with blog updates as I near the trip and as I am on the trip to keep donors updated. I plan to leave for Cambodia on December 1 and return on December 14.
