We are the BARBOSA Family and are here to humbly ask for your donations and prayers for our Puerto Rican loved ones and their neighboring communities. Our families throughout the Island and thousands more suffer every day and night. Their lives have been forever changed, homes destroyed, priceless memorabilia lost or damaged, endless waiting to unanswered cries for help and limited survival supplies. Gouging prices and self-serving politicos are incomprehensible during a time of human tragedy and neediness. No notices, no texts, and limited calls from family with their painful and desperate fundamental needs. It’s now been over a month since Hurricane Maria tormented Puerto Rico and still our people stand in long lines with no power to cook or communicate. Our extended family and friends here ask, “How can I help?” They express the urgency to assist and would like to connect with family and friends. Your heartfelt cash donations can help to start ease their losses to replace, rebuild, and alleviate their everyday simple necessities. Your support will be forwarded “directly” to them. They are the ones who can prioritize their own needs. To feed, repair, or share with a neighbor will be their choice.
