Port Credit Legion Poppy Fund

Every year, from the last Friday of October to November 11, tens of millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a visual pledge to honour Canada’s Veterans and remember those who sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today. While the Poppy is distributed freely to all who wish to wear one, the Legion gratefully accepts donations to the Poppy Fund.
This year is an especially tough year for our Veterans due to the COVID pandemic that has shut doors, prevented access to services, and stopped loved ones from being able to interact with their heros and icons.
Please consider in place of buying a poppy this year, to make an electronic donation to the Port Credit Legion Poppy Fund so that we can continue the legacy of assisting those veterans in need.
