Baby Emericks Heart Surgery Fund

On Emerick’s 2nd day of life he was diagnosed with a few different Congenital Heart Defects which include a Large VSD, PFO, and PDA as well as a possible Bicuspid Aortic Valve. 

An easy way to understand it is Emerick has 3 large holes in is heart, making it difficult for his little body to function properly.  He gets very sweaty, out of breath and tires very easily which is making it difficult for him to gain weight and grow properly.

At our last doctors appointment we were told that Emerick is now in Congestive Heart Failure.  Results on Emerick's Echocardiogram showed that the left side of his heart is significantly enlarged due to the amount of  blood shunting across the heart through the holes.



The cardiologist informed us that Emerick will need to have Open Heart Surgery which has been scheduled for this January. 

His surgery will require a minimum week long stay in the PICU at Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital in Denver.

Our goal is to raise $20,000
