YHS Marching Eagles Trip to Ireland

The YHS Marching Eagles have been invited to march in the 2018 St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Dublin Ireland! The Marching Eagle's are a small band from a very small town in PA. This is a once in a lifetime trip for these kids. Some of them have never even been to another state. These kids have worked so hard with fundraising over the past year, but still need some help. Each child has to pay $1000 towards their trip, and the band boosters are trying to pay the rest through fundraisers. It would be amazing if we could raise enough money, to make it so they would have to pay even less than $1000. 
Our Marching show costs us about $40,000-$50,000 every year. These kids are amazing at what they do, and very dedicated musicians and performers. Last year at Regional Championships they got 1st place and at the Atlantic Coast Tournament of Bands Championships, they placed 3rd out of 9 states! That is unheard of from such a small school, band and community. They deserve this trip. Not only are they marching in the biggest St. Patrick's Day parade in the world, but they will also be performing at various places throughout Ireland. They will get to see and learn the history of some of the castles, and see things they may never get another opportunity to see. If you are able to donate anything to help these kids out, they will be forever greatful. It doesn't take much, to make a big impact.
