James' Medical Fund

My younger brother, James, is undergoing chemotherapy treatments for pancreatic cancer at UCLA Los Angeles. Although he has health insurance through his employer, he  can't work while he's getting chemo treatments. He is currently applying for medical disability, but even if he's accepted, it will only amount to a percentage of his modest wages, and won't even come close to covering his rent, groceries, transportation, medical copayments etc., because living expenses in L.A. are extremely high. He needs financial help right away, as he depleted all his savings paying for previous 2016 expenses incurred from surgery in April, and the 6 months of chemo treatments that followed.
