Sue's Medical & Living Expenses

Susan Tatem suffers from a degenerative back condition that has progressed from mild to severe. She has had multiple procedures including the insertion of a medical stimulator that provides slight relief, but doctors predict her condition will likely worsen over time. Due to this she was forced to resign from her job over 2 years ago. What many don't know is that she has been living without any income. She was denied disability and social security twice. While she will appeal the decisions again, the process takes several months. She has depleted her entire 401-k, retirement fund and savings account even though she stays home most days, unable to do most activities.
     In addition she was recently hospitalized for a wound that wouldn't heal. Without medical insurance, her bill was in the thousands. As her friends, we are asking for any amount you can donate. She will be paying off her medical bills and the limited doctor visits she can afford for the next few years, and she needs funds for basic living expenses. She is completely disabled, often barely able to walk much of the day (though she fights to increase her strength & flexibility). She has hung in there with God's help and a great attitude, but the recent added stress has become overwhelming. Soon she will be forced to sell her townhouse and move in with family, either out of the area or outside of Florida. PLEASE HELP with ANY amount that you are able, and please spread the word.
