Daniel Sands Medical Expenses

Daniel Sands was on his way to work Tuesday morning, July 11th, 2017 around 8am when he was involved in a terrible car accident in Montgomery, Alabama.  He suffered multiple injuries and was life flighted to the nearest trauma hospital.  Daniel has already had multiple surgeries and until this past Friday (July 21st) was in a medically induced coma. Daniels wife Cristain and family were excited for him to respond by opening his eyes and squeezing their hands for the first time this past Friday.  Daniel continues to be in critical condition and on a  ventilator, but we are all hopefull he will have a full recovery.  He has a long journey ahead of him.

Daniel is a great husband to Cristain and a great father to Aubrye who is 5.  He is loved by family members, coworkers, and friends from his church.  Daniel broke his leg, severed an artery in his lower abdomen area, he has 8 broken ribs and his lungs are severely bruised.  Cristain and Daniels family are praying he can come off the ventilator soon, but Tuesday July 25th will make two weeks.

Daniel, Cristain, and Aubrye need your financial support to help them with the many hospital and medical bills that are to come.  Although we do not know the extent of how much all these bills will be, evidence is growing that they will be insurmountable.  When Daniel makes a full recovery, he will miss significant time from work.  Cristain has already missed two weeks of work and plans to go back to work this week to work a little each day when she can.  Cristain is driving back and forth 30 miles each way to the hospital, and we know it will only be a matter of time before all the extra gas, food and parking bills will become too much.
