Yeti’s (Rob Stainer’s) memorial

Hi guys, I’ve set up this GoFundMe to help out with a memorial service for Yeti/Rob. A lot of people have wanted to help, which is very much appreciated, so I thought this would be the best way to accept that help.

As you know we sadly lost a very special man 24th November. He was loved by so many people and we would love to have a celebration of Yetman’s life with everyone who would like to join us.

Yeti is being cremated and there will not be a service but we are looking to meet somewhere to raise a glass together. I will be able to update this page with more information as I sort it.

This is just a celebration for Yetman which will be held in Gosport. His ashes will be returned to me but I am not aware of when that will be at the moment. I am hoping it will be before Winter Solstice, where I plan to scatter Yetman’s ashes at Stonehenge so he can celebrate every future Solstice. If this goes to plan, everyone is also welcome to come and celebrate with us then as well as in Gosport.

The money raised will pay for a venue/food in Gosport for us all to get together. The soonest date that seems suitable would be around Saturday 5th February, this way more of Yetman’s friends and family are able to join us. Any money that is not used on this will be put behind the bar for everyone to enjoy as I’m sure Yeti would have wanted it this way. But if anyone has any other ideas for this, please get in contact.
