At the end of this month, we plan to shoot a short film called “Yes / No” that will examine the nuanced issue of consent. It is about a young woman who uncovers a repressed memory of trauma throughout the course of a doctor’s visit, ultimately coming to terms with the experience. We believe this is an important story to tell, especially during this “#MeToo” moment when women are coming forward in droves with their stories, and the world is finally listening.

We are very proud to have an all female team collaborating on this project. Inspired by a personal experience, this script was written by Kelsey Cressman and Kelsey Krasnigor aka The Kelseys. It will be directed by Jody Margolin Hahn and produced by Barbara Brace, both talented and experienced professionals. Jody and Barbara have assembled an amazing cast and crew, including an Emmy award winning Director of Photography and a veteran actor/producer.

We believe it is not only important to tell this specific story but to tell it well. All the money we raise will be put toward making the film as high quality as possible, including renting camera and lighting equipment and a shooting location.
