Family Assistance

On January 28th, Jason woke up with a fever and he lost his ability to speak. Krystal, his fiancé of seven years called 911. Jason was transported to Providence Hospital where the doctors worked hard to find the reason for his paralysis. After many tests, it was discovered that Jason had an abscess on his brain, most likely caused from a severe and very rare case of sinusitis that found its way into his brain. He was rushed into brain surgery at 11 pm that night. While recovering from the first brain surgery, it was noticed that Jason was unable to move his right hand. Another MRI revealed that another surgery was needed, and he was again rushed in for a second brain surgery. The surgeons left part of his skull open to allow for swelling, and Jason was intubated and placed in a medicated coma to allow for healing. Jason has a long road ahead. He is currently breathing on his own and has been able to walk a little with assistance. He will require at least two more surgeries, and has yet to regain his ability to speak.
Jason is the father of four children. He is the sole supporter of his family, and will be unable to return to his job as an electrician for an undetermined amount of time. It is our goal with this Go Fund Me request to collect enough funds to maintain housing for his family while he recovers. Any donation to help this family would be greatly appreciated. We will keep you updated on his progress. We believe in the power of prayer. Please keep Jason and his family in your prayers as he fights to recover.
