I was hesitant to do this because I wish I was in a place to give than to recieve. So, I write this with a sorry heart and a deep gratitude.
For those of you who don't know me. My name is Yeonsol. I am from Daejeon South Korea. I am an alumni of Woodstock school, india with class of 2015! Currently, I am attending Eastern Michigan University studying music therapy. I had amazing experiences all throughout my life, and especially during my time in India where I learned and grew. It was the place I loved.
All throughout high school, my family had a hard time providing for my education. I knew it would be a struggle for me to go to college. My parents never told me I could not do what I wanted to do. My mother later told me that she was planning to have me work with her if I wasn't good in school. Then she saw me apply to be a music therapist major and how I struggled through school, and she knew that I had the ability to create a path. I truly am thankful I have made it this far. Looking back at last three years, God has done incredible things to keep me going.
I am not too greedy with alot of things, but with my education, I insists. I work as an RA, and at the Rec/IM, at a church, as a translator, note-taker...I have been doing anything to keep me going with the help of my family- but being very honest, I am kind of stuck. My family and I have not figured out a way to pay this semester's tuition fee. Please help me continue my education. With my presence and my absence, I will always be giving- everything is connected to everything else.
Aside from GOFUNDME, I also do have Paypal if you prefer that.
I will be updating both of them so they both keep an account on how much I have collected!
