Help Karen Fight Cancer

Hi everyone,
I have made this go fund me page for a dear friend, Karen O'Neill. Karen is a single Mum of seven, and a few weeks ago was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and another tumour was also found in her neck. This tumour has been pressing on her Carotid Arteries and has caused her to periodically loose her vision in one eye.
Karen will be undergoing surgery on the 10/09/18 to remove her Thyroid Gland, the tumour in her neck, and effected Lymph Nodes, followed by radiation therapy. As some of you already know, Karen also suffers from Lupus Disease which brings it's own complications.
This operation and radiation therapy will mean that Karen will need to take time off work and my hope is that we can raise enough money to support her financially through this time and enable her to have some time off work without the financial burden.
For those of you who know Karen, you would know that she is an amazing, selfless lady, who gives to everyone around her. Although life has thrown her many curve balls, she always has an amazing attitude in every situation and it has never stopped her from being there for everyone around her. I can't think of anyone more deserving of a helping hand than this beautiful lady.
